And as Chief Commercial Officer at FreeAgent, he was instrumental in setting strategy and delivering market expansion, culminating in acquisition by NatWest.

Anil has over 25 years’ experience as a consultant in both public and private sector organisations. He has held several roles, ranging from Programme Director to CTO and led projects and commercial activities across Europe, Middle East, US, and Australia. Prior to joining Polaris, Anil was a Programme Manager at Westminster City Council, leading a major digital transformation change programme for City Highways.

Richard has over 15 years’ experience in the ITS market serving both the UK and International markets. Prior to Polaris he was Managing Director and previously Finance Director at Jenoptik UK a leading supplier of ANPR based solutions, and lead its transition from privately owned, through Private Equity and then finally onto corporate ownership, including several acquisitions along the way. He has an accountancy background and is ACCA qualified.

Our Chief Technology Officer, Tom Underhill brings extensive experience in building and scaling technology organisations.
Tom’s career has focused on building SaaS applications and driving transformation within technology organisations. Prior to joining Polaris, Tom worked in the highly regulated life science technology space, where he gained deep experience in delivering mission-critical systems that meet stringent compliance and operational requirements.
Tom lives in Essex and in his spare time enjoys watching sports including rugby, cycling, climbing and Formula 1. He’s passionate about the outdoors and can often be found out cycling and running.

Zoe brings 15 years’ experience scaling and operating technology companies, partnering closely with founders, executive teams, and investors to drive strategy, execution, and organisational growth.
Before joining Polaris, Zoe held senior leadership roles in multiple high-growth startups, where she led cross-functional initiatives across strategy, operations, fundraising, and customer success and is known for translating ambitious vision into operational reality.

Matt joined our leadership team, with responsibility for business development and customer success functions.
Matt previously worked for a large UK GovTech business for nearly 30 years in the transport and blue light division, providing fleet management solutions and ANPR technology. His role helped blue light and other public sector organisations ensure compliance and deliver frontline services with reduced budgets, through the implementation of software and technology.
In his spare time loves to go to the gym, watch his local cricket and rugby teams, go to the theatre and travel widely to experience new cultures, especially sampling the food.

Nats Harmon-Tatton
Director of People
Our People Director, Natalie Harmon-Tatton has extensive experience leading people strategy across startups, established organisations including PE-backed businesses and has worked in both corporate and ‘less corproate’ HR models.
Prior to Polaris, she was VP of People at a PE-backed travel tech company HQ’d in London, and previously lead HR for Europe at a global luxury retailer. She loves a first-time HR team environment and educating people on what good HR practice actually means. With global experience across Europe, US and Asia, Natalie is a commercially minded people-team leader known for balancing business needs with human-centric, progressive HR practices. A true generalist, she spans people strategy, talent, culture, and leadership development.
She holds a BA in German and Sociology from Exeter, is CIPD qualified, and holds multiple leadership development certifications. In her down time she can be found in the rolling West Sussex hills with her dog Toby and hopes to renovate a derelict scottish barn one day!

Across a number of senior roles, he has led M&A, international expansion and digital transformation initiatives. Prior to joining Polaris, James was Chief Financial Officer at BigHand. Outside work, he enjoys reading, cycling and watching his two boys play cricket.
