Polaris is the power behind London’s first multi-app parking system with Westminster City Council.

We’re proud to be the council’s technology partner on this new scheme, the first of its kind in London.

Spearheading Urban Mobility Modernisation

Led by Westminster City Council, this project marks a major step forward in modernising urban mobility.

The new system connects leading providers—RingGo, JustPark, and PayByPhone, through a secure API framework that makes cashless parking simpler, fairer and more efficient for everyone.

Building a Scalable, Cloud-Native API

In just a few weeks, our team built a highly scalable, resilient API enabling multiple providers to register and query sessions in real time. With a security-by-design, cloud-native architecture, the system delivers robust authentication, provider isolation, and automated deployment pipelines, while ensuring compliance and interoperability at scale.

Delivering Savings and Driver Choice

For Westminster, that means £1.2 million a year saved for local taxpayers and more investment into cleaner, safer transport links. For drivers, it means real choice.

As more councils prepare to join the National Parking Platform, this project shows how Polaris is helping local authorities move to a cloud-first, API-driven model that’s faster to deploy, easier to maintain, and designed for the connected cities of tomorrow.

We’re proud to help local authorities like Westminster deliver smarter, more connected cities.
